The school’s motto is per ardua ad astra, which, literally translated, means “through adversity to the stars” although it can also be interpreted as “by giving your best at all times you will achieve”. This reinforces the idea that success requires aspiration and effort. Your school offers a wide range of academic, cultural, social and sporting experiences. Students are encouraged to take part in as many of these as possible. By doing so, students should never lose sight of their main purpose in being here: to develop knowledge and skills to become valuable members of our community and broader society. Our expectation is that every student will be a respectful, safe, responsible learner.
